A police report that was released on Saturday stated that a gray fox had ended up attacking two people on Saturday in Natick. According to the police reports both the attacks happened in the 100 block of East Central St.
One of the victim who was attacked by the fox, 12-year old Atlantis Shagoury, shared her story with the media detailing how the events happened.
“I did not see it come or even hear it come,” the 12-year old said adding that, “I only felt that something or someone had bitten my leg.” At the time of the attack the 12-year old Shagoury was playing outside of her home.
After being attacked Shagoury ended up screaming and her father, upon hearing the scream, came out quickly and he was shocked by what he saw.
“The fox had her right arm and it was dangling off the ground, it was pretty shocking I couldn’t believe my eyes,” her dad, Rob Shagoury said. “I moved in quickly and swiftly and took and through the fox on the ground, it then made a move for my daughter and I had to move it off again and kicked it into the woods.”
Rob Shagoury daughter Atlantis underwent a series of rabies test and given lots of shot after the whole incident. According to the police, the fox is highly dangerous and might be unhealthy and thus all are encouraged to be careful when they come across it.
