Relationship between the Animals and Ecology

Relationship between the Animals and Ecology

What better way is there to explain about this wonderful and complex system of interdependence than this very true and a common saying and fact states that, “If the bee disappeared off the face of the earth, man would only have four years to live”! And with the way things are going for the past few decade, our earth is suffering extremely. The answer to this disruption is not some Global Warming, but the greed and acts of the human beings. So, it is very important to understand this about this relationship of animals and ecology and take the preventive and respective measures to save both the animals and the earth.

They maintain the oxygen & carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. They maintain the ecological population on the earth. In fact, their every activities, from mating to breeding, feeding, killing, all of them play an important role in the ecosystem. Here is a list of some of the factors that keeps the ecosystem well maintained:

(1) Biodiversity: The unlikeness and variance among them and still their dependence with and on each other and the plants in a specific habitat or within the region. This has been affected largely due to human interference in nature over the years.

(2) Food Web: This is the chain that explains the feeding relationships of and in between the animals at their on specific trophic levels based on their role as the Producers and the Consumers.

(3) Population Ecology: a lot of it depends on the food chain, animal conservation and above of all, prey & predator relationships.

(4) Bio-Geographical Patterns: it depends on the animals specific and suitable functions in an ecosystem, like niches, biomes, ecotype in the biosphere.

If we don’t preserve this beautiful ecosystem, then it is our loss. Let us live and let others live, too.
