Save The Lion; Save Your Jungle King

Save The Lion; Save Your Jungle King

The lion is the largest living cat after tiger. The lion is a vulnerable species largely found in Africa’s Sahara desert. Lion is also known as “The king of jungle”. It possesses beauty as well as strength. Lions vary in colors like white. Light yellow, brown. Lion can survive 10 to 14 in wild or else for 20 years. Lion are carnivores mammals come from the Felidae family.
Population of lions:
It is seen that lion population is decreasing from last three decades. In fact the exact reason for its decline is still a mystery; hardly any one became success in knowing the cause of its decline.  Currently the greatest cause for lion’s decline is habitat loss, loss of their prey base to the bush meat trade and conflicts with humans. Beside that they face sport hunting. Its population in all Africa is approx is 34000. It has reduced to half since 1950s.
Lion is facing extinction:
African lions are facing extinction and by the end of 2050 lions will completely declined. No more species would be found if they don’t get required protection under the Endangered Species Act. It has been estimated that by 2050 the African population will be doubled and they need more space agriculture. So lions may attack on human beings and in returns to save their life population would kill lions. As result various organizations has decided to save lion. And the proposal to protect lion comes in response.
