Cat owners all around the world are crazy about this new " experiment ", so they keep sharing pictures of their cat in the circle.
You can either draw one, or you can make one, it doesn't matter. The thing is, cat will go inside of it, and stay there for a while.
Those who've tested this say the first thing their cat does is observe the circle, but from a safe distance. After that ( when they've probably made sure everything is ok ) they go inside.
British expert for animal behavior Daniel Mills thinks that cat probably see it as some kind of shelter.
If you make a circle, especially from socks or towels, things like that, they will see it as a safe place to hide, and it will make them feel protected - says Mills
Some people think that cats are doing it because they want to mark the territory, because for them it looks like something totally new, which they can own.
On the other hand, there are those who disagree, saying it is not possible, because cats already think they own everything in the house, so that circle definitely wouldn't be an exception.
